Pina Bausch

Pina Bausch was German choreographer whose work is credited with revolutionizing modern dance. As artistic director of the Wuppertal Dance Theater since 1973, Bausch earned world renown for her avant-garde performances and choreographies combining dance, sound, and narrative.
