William Hemmerling

William Hemmerling was a late-blooming Southern folk artist whose artistic creations using simple pieces of discarded wood and metal won him honors. Since he was discovered in 2003, more than 1,000 people have bought Hemmerling’s work and most were repeat customers, 80% of whom lived out of state. His work began selling for $100 to $500, and now prices range from $3,000 to $20,000.
